10-Year hunt for Cancer-Causing virus clues

Summary
This study aims to understand how specific patterns of the human papillomavirus (HPV) are linked to the development of anal cancer or serious pre-cancerous growths over a 10-year period. It involves about 100 people in France who were previously in a related HIV prevention trial. Researchers will examine participants and analyze their past and current medical data to identify which virus characteristics increase long-term cancer risk.
