NCT ID NCT06975241
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at how fast the body turns EPA (an omega-3 fat) into DHA (another omega-3) in healthy people. Researchers want to know if a person's sex and a specific gene affect this process. 64 healthy adults will take EPA supplements for 12 weeks and give blood samples. The goal is to better understand omega-3 metabolism, not to treat any disease.
