First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at how quickly healthy adults convert EPA (an omega-3) into DHA (another omega-3) in their blood. Researchers want to see if a person's sex and a specific gene affect this conversion rate. Participants will take EPA supplements for 12 weeks and give blood samples. The goal is to better understand how our bodies process omega-3s.
