Scientists probe why tired muscles make us wobbly
NCT ID NCT07405060
Summary
This study aims to understand how muscle fatigue from exercise affects a person's balance and walking ability, and whether these effects differ between older and younger adults. Researchers will recruit 140 healthy participants, split into a younger group (20-40 years) and an older group (60-85 years). Participants will perform tiring exercises, and scientists will measure their strength, balance, and walking patterns before and after to see what changes.
