Scientists probe why tired muscles make us wobbly
NCT ID NCT07405060
Summary
This study aims to understand how muscle fatigue affects balance and walking, and whether these effects differ between older and younger adults. Researchers will recruit 140 healthy participants, split into a younger group (20-40 years) and an older group (60-85 years). Participants will perform tiring exercises for their arms and legs, and researchers will measure changes in their strength, balance, and walking patterns before and after.
