At-Home brain zapping tested as new hope for depression
NCT ID NCT07228468
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation device, used at home, can help people with major depression. About 440 adults with moderate to severe depression will either use the device along with their usual care or continue with usual care alone for 10 weeks. The goal is to see if adding this home-based treatment leads to better control of depressive symptoms over time.
