At-Home brain zapper trial offers new hope for depression

NCT ID NCT07228468

Summary

This UK trial is testing whether a home-use brain stimulation device can help people with depression. The device, called tDCS, delivers a mild electrical current through a headset. Researchers want to see if using it at home for 10 weeks, along with a person's usual care, is better at reducing depression symptoms than usual care alone.
