NCT ID NCT06391489
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This pilot study tests whether a telehealth program called HOBSCOTCH-PACS can help people with long COVID manage memory and thinking problems. Ten participants will attend nine virtual coaching sessions and complete questionnaires about their quality of life and cognitive function. The goal is to see if the program is feasible and improves daily living.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- HOBSCOTCH-PACS (home-based self-management and cognitive training program)
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could point toward a practical, home-based way to help people with long COVID manage brain fog and improve their daily life.
- What could go wrong
- This is a very small pilot study with only 10 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The program is adapted from epilepsy care and may not work as well for long COVID.
