NCT ID NCT05584397
First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026
Summary
This study looks at 40 people with HIV to see if different types of HIV medications affect the hidden virus (the HIV reservoir) and immune system differently. Researchers want to know if a drug called tenofovir might cause more immune activation and keep the virus hiding longer. The goal is to find ways to improve HIV treatment and reduce long-term inflammation.
