Breaking the silence: can openness about HIV help children thrive?

NCT ID NCT04791865

Summary

This study is testing whether a structured program to help caregivers tell children their HIV status leads to better health. It involves 720 children (ages 7-18) and their caregivers across 12 clinics in Ghana. Researchers will compare the new disclosure program to usual care to see if it improves medication adherence and overall well-being.
