First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether putting a special tape on the diaphragm (the main breathing muscle) can make high-intensity interval training (HIIT) more effective. Thirty trained adults aged 18-35 will either do HIIT alone or HIIT with the tape for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in fitness, balance, and lung function to see if the tape provides an extra boost.
