First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested whether a high-dose flu vaccine works better than the standard-dose shot in adults aged 60 and older. About 2,100 healthy older adults in Japan took part. Researchers measured immune responses 28 days after vaccination to see if the high-dose version triggered stronger protection against four flu strains.
