First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested whether a high-dose flu vaccine could create a stronger immune response than the standard dose in adults aged 60 and older. Over 2,100 healthy seniors in Japan received either the high-dose or standard-dose vaccine. Results showed that the high-dose shot triggered a significantly stronger antibody response against all four flu strains included in the vaccine.
