First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study is testing a new device called HemoCept to see if it can accurately measure pressure in the heart's blood vessels during a standard procedure called right heart catheterization. About 50 adults with conditions like pulmonary hypertension or heart failure will take part. The goal is to see if the device's readings match the usual measurements, which could lead to easier monitoring in the future.
