New exercise program aims to protect hearts of people living with HIV

Summary

This study tests an 8-week exercise program designed to improve cardiovascular health in people with HIV who are at risk for heart failure. The program combines weekly supervised workouts at a center with two home-based sessions, plus education and coaching. Researchers will enroll 30 adults aged 40 and older to see if the program increases physical activity and improves heart-related health markers.
