First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study explores whether heat therapy can improve how the body and brain handle sugar in healthy older adults (65+) who are at risk for Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will measure blood sugar control and brain energy use in 60 participants to see if heat treatments offer a simple way to protect brain health. The goal is to find a non-drug approach to lower Alzheimer's risk.
