Summary
This study follows 1500 adults who are scheduled for heart surgery or a less invasive valve procedure. Researchers want to learn what factors predict major heart problems like stroke, heart failure, or death after the procedure. Participants will be monitored for several years to understand how their body's cells and tissues affect recovery.
