First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study follows over 10,000 healthy adults aged 50-75 for at least 10 years to see how heart rate and blood pressure changes relate to future heart problems, including heart attacks, strokes, and sudden death. Researchers measure heart rate and blood pressure responses during simple tests to find early warning signs. The goal is to better understand who is at risk and why, without providing any treatment.
