Pacemaker study aims to Fine-Tune heart signal detection

NCT ID NCT06540521

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at the electrical signals inside the heart in 75 people who already have a specific type of pacemaker (LBBAP) for heart failure or slow heart rate. Researchers will change the pacing strength and ask participants to move into different body positions while recording the heart's electrical activity. The goal is to gather data that could help create a smarter algorithm to automatically detect when the pacemaker is correctly capturing the heart's natural electrical system.
