New heart scan could improve care for complex congenital defects
NCT ID NCT05262907
Summary
This study is testing a new 3D ultrasound method to measure heart size and function in children and young adults born with a single working heart ventricle. Researchers want to see if this new imaging technique works as well as the current gold standard, cardiac MRI. The goal is to develop a better, more accurate way to monitor these complex heart conditions.
