Summary
This observational study looks at adults with obesity who are already planning weight loss surgery. Researchers will use heart CT scans and ultrasounds before and six months after surgery to see if fat inside the heart muscle decreases and if the heart's ability to relax improves. The study does not provide any treatment—it simply measures changes to learn more about heart health in obesity.
