Summary
This study looked at whether a specific mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (mRNA-1273.712) causes a rise in a heart enzyme called troponin, which can signal heart stress. About 1000 healthy volunteers aged 12 to 30 received either the vaccine or a placebo. Researchers measured troponin levels before and after vaccination and found no significant increase linked to the vaccine.
