Summary
This study tested a healthbot (a conversational computer program) designed to help people stick with their varenicline medication, which is used to quit smoking. Researchers worked with 40 smokers in Ontario who were ready to quit. The goal was to see if the healthbot was easy to use and helpful in improving medication adherence and smoking cessation.
