Cancer researchers test if delaying radiation changes tumors
NCT ID NCT06487403
Summary
This study aims to understand how different timing of radiation therapy affects head and neck cancer tumors. Researchers will compare standard radiation schedules with an approach that delays treatment to some lymph node areas. The study involves 40 patients who will undergo MRI scans and tumor biopsies before and during treatment to measure changes in the tumor environment.
