Pregnant women with hepatitis c offered early treatment in new study

Summary

This study looks at whether it is possible and acceptable to start hepatitis C treatment during pregnancy in women who have a history of drug use. About 50 pregnant adults will take the medication glecaprevir-pibrentasvir and be followed for one year. Researchers will measure how well participants stick to the treatment and how satisfied they are with the experience.
