First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests two different pre-transplant chemotherapy plans combined with a single drug (cyclophosphamide) given after transplant to prevent graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), a common and serious complication. About 82 adults with blood cancers who have a matched donor will participate. The goal is to see if this simpler approach can reduce severe GVHD while improving recovery and quality of life.
