Summary
This study looked at 220 children with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that is in remission to see how many also have disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBIs), such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Researchers compared them to healthy children to find out if these gut-brain issues are more common in kids with IBD. The goal was to better understand and identify these overlapping conditions.
