Summary

This study follows 50 people with moderate to severe Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis to see how long they stay on guselkumab in real-world settings. Researchers will measure treatment persistence and early symptom improvements using patient diaries. The goal is to understand the drug's long-term effectiveness outside of clinical trials.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
guselkumab
What this could lead to
If successful, this could confirm guselkumab's long-term effectiveness for managing inflammatory bowel disease in everyday practice.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study with only 50 participants, so results may not apply broadly. It does not test new benefits or safety beyond what is already known.
