Summary
This study tested whether giving growth hormone to people with advanced liver cirrhosis could help them live longer without needing a transplant or having serious complications like fluid buildup or infections. 96 adults with decompensated cirrhosis took part. The goal was to see if the hormone could improve nutrition, immune function, and liver regeneration.
