Could a daily dose of grapes calm Crohn's disease?

NCT ID NCT05972694

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether eating grape powder every day could change the mix of bacteria in the gut for people with Crohn's disease. Twenty-one adults in remission from Crohn's ate no grapes or berries for a week, then consumed grape powder daily for three weeks. Researchers compared samples from before and after to see if the grape powder changed gut bacteria and reduced signs of inflammation.
