Summary
This study tested whether applying a product called Gluma desensitizer during a dental filling procedure could reduce the tooth sensitivity patients often feel afterward. It involved 570 people who needed fillings in their back teeth. Researchers compared different methods of applying the gel to see which worked best at preventing post-treatment pain.
