Summary

This study looks at how two popular weight-loss medications, semaglutide and tirzepatide, change the way the stomach empties food. Thirty adults with obesity or overweight will receive weekly shots of either drug or a placebo for 24 weeks. Researchers will measure stomach emptying, fullness, and weight at several points, including after stopping the medication.
