First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how two common weight-loss medications, semaglutide and tirzepatide, change the way the stomach empties food and how full people feel. Thirty adults with obesity will take one of the drugs or a placebo for 24 weeks, and their stomach function will be measured before, during, and after treatment. The goal is to understand these drugs' effects on digestion and appetite.
