First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special light therapy during surgery is safe and doable for people with glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. Ten adults who were already scheduled for surgery to remove their tumor received the extra light treatment. The main goal was to see if at least 6 out of 10 patients could complete the full treatment without serious side effects.
