New drug aims to free patients from IV dependence

Summary
This study is testing whether a new injectable drug called glepaglutide can help adults with short bowel syndrome. The goal is to see if taking the drug twice a week can safely reduce the amount of intravenous (IV) fluids and nutrition they need. About 90 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo (a dummy injection) to compare the results.
