Scientists search for clues to predict glaucoma drug success

NCT ID NCT04412096

Summary

This study aimed to understand why eye pressure responds differently to standard glaucoma medications in different patients. Researchers measured how eye fluid is produced and drains in 59 people with ocular hypertension or early glaucoma. The goal was to find measurements that could help doctors predict which medication will work best for a patient, moving away from trial-and-error treatment.
