Scientists probe why glaucoma drugs fail some patients

NCT ID NCT04412096

Summary

This study aimed to find out why people with glaucoma or high eye pressure respond differently to standard eye drop medications. Researchers measured how fluid moves in and out of the eye in 59 participants to see if they could predict who would have a good or poor response to two common drugs. The goal was to gather knowledge to help doctors choose the right treatment for each patient sooner, moving away from trial-and-error.
