First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at how genetic changes influence the outlook for people with brain or spinal cord arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). Researchers will analyze DNA from 300 participants to find links between specific gene mutations and disease progression. The goal is to better understand why some AVMs cause bleeding while others do not, which could guide future treatments.
