Study maps genetic risks in advanced prostate cancer patients
NCT ID NCT03503097
Summary
This study offered genetic testing to 799 men whose prostate cancer had spread to other parts of the body. Researchers tested saliva samples for inherited cancer-risk genes to understand how common these genetic changes are in this patient group. The study also explored participants' experiences and concerns about genetic testing, but did not provide any cancer treatments.
