First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tests a gene therapy called 4D-150 for people with diabetic macular edema, a condition that causes vision loss due to diabetes. The goal is to see if a single injection of the gene therapy can reduce the need for frequent eye injections over two years. About 72 adults who respond well to standard treatment will participate, and the study compares the gene therapy to a control group.
