First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests a gene therapy called 4D-150 for people with diabetic macular edema, a condition where fluid builds up in the eye and blurs vision. About 72 adults who still need regular eye injections will receive either the gene therapy or standard treatment. The goal is to see if a single dose can reduce the number of injections needed over two years while keeping vision stable.
