Summary
This early-phase study tested the safety and best dose of two chemotherapy drugs (gemcitabine and docetaxel) given together with radiation before surgery for adults with large, high-grade soft tissue sarcoma in the arms or legs. Only 9 people took part before the study was stopped. The goal was to find the highest safe dose and track side effects, not to cure the disease. This approach aims to control the tumor before surgery.
