Brain zaps and VR games aim to steady steps in cognitive decline
NCT ID NCT05864313
Summary
This study is testing whether combining a non-invasive brain stimulation technique with virtual reality balance and walking exercises can improve mobility in people with mild cognitive impairment. Researchers will compare the effects of real brain stimulation versus a sham (fake) stimulation during the exercises. The goal is to see if this combined approach helps with walking steadiness and reduces fall risk.
