Brain zaps and VR games aim to steady steps in early memory loss

NCT ID NCT05864313

Summary

This study is testing whether combining a non-invasive brain stimulation technique with virtual reality balance and walking exercises can improve mobility in people with mild cognitive impairment. It will involve 30 adults, half with and half without cognitive issues, who will complete two sessions of training. Researchers will compare results from real brain stimulation to a fake version to see if the combination helps with walking accuracy and balance.
