Researchers dig into medical records to solve common surgery complication
NCT ID NCT07382791
Summary
This study looks back at the medical records of people who had pancreatic cancer surgery to understand a common problem called delayed gastric emptying, where the stomach takes too long to process food after surgery. Researchers will compare different surgical techniques and patient factors to see what increases the risk of this complication and how it affects recovery and quality of life. The goal is to find better ways to prevent and manage this issue for future patients.
