Doctors dig through old records to solve Post-Surgery stomach woes
NCT ID NCT07382791
Summary
This study aims to understand why some patients have slow stomach emptying after pancreatic cancer surgery, a common problem that hurts recovery and delays follow-up treatments. Researchers will look back at the medical records of about 500 patients who had surgery between 2005 and 2021. They will compare different surgery types and patient factors to find what increases the risk and how to better manage this complication in the future.
