First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether a foot-ankle exercise program could help adults with type 2 diabetes manage nerve pain, stress, and quality of life better than walking or standard care. 108 people took part for 12 weeks, doing either foot-ankle exercises, walking, or receiving education only. The main goal was to see if a larger study is possible, with early results suggesting foot-ankle exercises may offer benefits worth exploring further.
