Eat your veggies first: new study tests meal sequencing for diabetes control

Summary
This study looks at whether eating proteins and vegetables before carbohydrates (meal sequencing) can improve blood sugar control in 70 adults with diabetes or prediabetes who also experience food insecurity. Participants will receive free produce boxes and either standard nutrition advice or extra counseling on meal sequencing. The main goal is to see if meal sequencing helps keep blood sugar in a healthy range over 24 weeks.
