NCT ID NCT04038619

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) can safely reduce diarrhea and colon inflammation caused by immune-checkpoint inhibitors in people with genitourinary and other cancers. About 40 participants will receive FMT and be monitored for side effects and symptom improvement within two weeks. The goal is to manage these common, disruptive side effects without stopping cancer treatment.
