Scientists test first pill for flu in healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT07169318
Summary
This is the first study in humans to test a new oral medication called VNT-101, which is being developed to treat influenza (flu). Researchers will give the drug to about 78 healthy adults to see how safe it is and how the body processes it at different single and multiple doses. The main goal is to understand the drug's safety profile and how it moves through the body before testing it in people who are sick with the flu.
